Wallabies v All Blacks game is always passionate. Wallabies v All Blacks match that is a world cup semi final, semi final at Eden Park that is beyond enormous. That is what faces us 21.00 NZDT Sunday. Australia in some way overcame a dominate South Africa. They showed a lot of heart losing almost every sign. They showed small of the running game they are renowned for. They as well showed some weaknesses. Their set member was a mess, and they struggled to control ownership.
However, this Australian elevation is very, very high-quality. They have a strong forward group, especially their loose trio. They have exceptionally electrifying backs. They have now shown they are youthful, but are very mentally strong. Under trainer Robbie Deans, this is an incredible team. They will want to beat the All Blacks in the slack, and bother the All Blacks hit. There is no one better equipped than David Pocock. He is superior to Australia than McCaw is to New Zealand. He’s also questionably now a better performer. His battle against McCaw will maybe decide this match.

Australia will require more from star half back Genia and first five Cooper. Cooper’s defense and kicking were fragile. He must get better. To beat the All Blacks, they will also need to build chances. Their outer backs are breath taking. Ioane is probably the most thrilling runner in world rugby. But will they find a chance to run? Australia has a mental frame over the All Blacks for two reasons. First, they won their last meet. Second, they have a better recent World cup record. The question for Australia will be whether they can improve on their quarter final presentation. The All Blacks will make them compensate if they give them as much ball as South Africa had.
In fact, this match gave the All Blacks the whole thing they needed. A tough battle, a tough forward battle, a very good defense to defeat. It also provides a new kicking hero, Piri Weepu. It provides an exciting new first five prospect in Aaron Cruden. It also showed Sony Bill possibly will not be the main for the big games. The All Blacks will need to win three central areas. If they do, they can get the Wallabies. The first is the set member. Australia is weak here. The All Blacks need to lead this, and turn it into points. That’s what South Africa unsuccessful to do. The second is the loose onward battle. This will be impressive. With McCaw, Read and Kaino the All Blacks bring prosperity. But Pocock, Elsom and Samo are equally extraordinary. It’s hard to call who will obtain on top. But whoever does, will perhaps win it for their team.
The final area is NZ’s hit versus Australia’s guard. At times against a strong Argentina defense, the All Blacks looked lateral. They have to run straight with good angle. If they can penetrate the defense, they can take NZ home. If Australia holds them out, they could get discouraged. This could direct to silly errors. Significantly in 2003 Australia took an intercept to win the match. There are some giant assortment questions for both teams. NZ are in the making on Slade and Muliaina. To be sincere, they can make do without them. If they do make progress, there are big decisions at first five and full back. You’d have to go with Cruden after his presentation. But it was against an exhausting Pumas side.
Australia knows this will be an blockbuster encounter. Coach Robbie Deans says, “I’ve got no doubt that the next couple of weeks will be the best World Cup rugby we’ve ever seen because the bar just keeps going up in terms of the capability of the sides.”
The All Blacks are thrilled about the panorama. Kieran Read saying, “For us to play next week is good enough in itself. But I suppose it doesn’t get much better than playing a semi-final against the Aussies.”
So who will come out on peak? Deans v Henry, Cooper or Barnes v Cruden or Slade, Weepu v Genia, McCaw v Pocock – the battles are enormous. This game is too close to identify. However, if the All Blacks can dominate up front, as South Africa largely did, then they can acquire Australia. The question will be whether their backs get saturation.
McCaw versus Pocock could make a decision this game. That is also too close to identify. Pocock may frame that, but the mixture of McCaw, Read and Kaino should just have enough to frame Australia. The All Blacks will capture this game by a whisker.
